MODEL
MLLT LIFE/MISSTESTER
The Markenrich model MLLT is intended for use in relay contact monitoring
where extended cycling and error reporting is required. Up to 128 relay
contacts may be monitored simultaneously while keeping miss/stick or pass/fail
records on each one. Sense levels may be defined from millivolts to tens
of volts, AC or DC.
The full 128 contact capacity need not be used at once. The system is divided
into 8 groups of 8 channels, each being able to handle a double throw contact.
Each group is capable of being operated independently of the other with
its own cycle count. Any group may be programmed to begin a cycle count
and then operate autonomously until stopped.
The model MLLT is an IEEE-488 bus instrument. All control functions and
data commands are sent to the MLLT over this bus from a controller such
as an IBM personal computer. Accompanying software is available that allows
you to take full advantage of the MLLT's features. The operation is menu
oriented and may be learned very quickly.
Contact failure reporting capabilities include the following:
Individual contact failure count
Group total failure count
Sequence of failure including cycle no.
Print failure summary
Store failure counts to file
In addition, the MLLT will test pull-in and drop-out voltage when used with
an optional external power supply. There is also a coil current soak function
for use when temperature cycling is required. All relay coils common to
a group are cycled on and off by internal solid state drivers.
