RT150 PROGRAMMABLE RELAY TESTER Markenrich relay testers are automated test systems designed to measure many electrical and operational characteristics of electromechanical and reed relays. The testers provide rapid, reliable results by automatically comparing measurements with programmed limits. The RT150 is a general purpose tester for all types of low and medium power relays. It can handle as many as six double-throw contacts and features a high-level contact test up to 10 amperes. Dielectric withstanding may be measured up to 1800 VRMS. Testing is done in conformance to most commercial specifications as well as MIL-R-39016, 6106 and 5757. The RT150 is completely programmable and offers non-volatile memory storage of 32 relay test plans (optionally up to 128). A standard serial RS232 port permits datalogging to a printer. The front panel of the RT150 was designed for simplicity and ease of use. Unskilled operators can learn to program and operate the tester with a minimum of effort. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES The following accessory items are available to enhance the RT150: RTA1 - Contact Load Supply RTA2 - Dual RUT Switching Box AP1A - AC Coil Supply Test Fixture Assemblies The RTA1 is an adjustable current source compatible with the RT150. An external contact load of up to 10 amperes may be used to measure contact voltage drop. It supplies 0-10 amperes in a constant-current mode to the contacts under test. The RTA2 is a test adapter multiplexer, allowing two identical test fixtures to be used on a single tester. When maximum operator efficiency is required, the RTA2 can be used to increase throughput up to 100%. While the operator is loading a relay into one fixture, the relay in the other fixture is being tested. The AP1A is an optional AC power supply used for testing AC coil relays. It provides AC voltage up to 270 VRMS at 50, 60 and 400 Hz. Interface cabling is included with the supply. Markenrich offers a complete line of economy and modular test fixtures. All test sockets feature teflon bodies and gold-plated Kelvin-type contact pins (except for pins of less than 0.100 inch). For complete information see our test fixturing data sheet.
